Four melodic tunings on Koshi Chimes are based on the four elements. The chimes roll in rich, mellow overtones that suggest the cohabitation of the elements in the sublunary world when combined.
The Koshi Chime is a top-notch, uniquely designed musical instrument played by the wind. (However, you may also use your hand to extract the beautiful tones within.)
At the foot of the Pyrenees, Koshi Chimes are meticulously handcrafted and have eight notes. At the bottom of the resonating tube, metal pieces were soldered together to form the sounds. Thin layers of bamboo veneer treated with natural oils make up the tube. The surface is far more durable than raw bamboo. It creates a lot more sturdy chime without sacrificing the renowned acoustic properties of bamboo.
